Inspired by the El Diario de Pilar series, I decided to create my own adventure book in Spanish. El Diario De Magda En Asia is a short project I had lots of fun creating, during which I learned about sentence structure and making my sentences flow nicely in Spanish. This little booklet follows my experiences during my travels, which I decided to symbolize as journeys through the three elements, Air, Earth, and Water, concluding with a note on the conservation of our beautiful planet.
Finishing my second book in the El Diario De Pilar series, I was created a slideshow about plants and animals in the Amazon. I learned so much about specific Spanish terminology, but also about the fantastic world of flora and fauna found in the Amazon Jungle.
My final presentation project, concluding a third book in the El Diario De Pilar series, was about plants in Africa. African plants are a fascinating subject because of the folklore tied to them, as well as the remedies they bring. This project was lots of fun to create, and I enjoyed a deep dive into the world of African Flora.
The rest of my year was spent studying for the DELE Spanish exam. I will continue my oral comprehension, reading comprehension, and writing and speaking practice next year until I am ready to take the test.
